Looks like it's a custom job, good thing brullen exhaust is not too far away

 

just had a jun header but sold it. had a 2.4 inch collector.

 

How did you like it? How much power were you putting out at the time?

 

it was a friends. never dynoed but the before and after was very nice.

not much low end of course but the power near the vtec engagement point and top end was greatly improved. not sure if that's because the size of the collector or the beefy primaries and secondaries.

 

Fitment was fine i.e. unlike the SMS header? How much do they go for approximately?

 

new is about $1000. design is similar to mugen and no, doesn't require any hacking of any sort.

i just sold mine for $450 shipped. too bad you missed it.

4-2-1

.. With the 4-1, there just simply is not enough ground clearence with lowered cars, and having to trim up the subframe is a pain (just not enough room for the pipes)..

 

Did your beaten up 4-2-1 header get sold? Any production targets for the 4-2-1 header?

Going to do one more prototype 4-2-1 to compare to the current one on Corey's car. I probably won't start building production versions until the end of the year. Sorry to the guys already on the build list.

Don't worry Dave, the 4-2-1 is just great. Warren won't admit how much I pulled on his ITR at Lowes.

It was the 4-1 that got a little dinged up, and 2point6 (Scott) has it now, and is going to put it on his accord, we all are hoping to see good gains..

 

im still saving for the 4-2-1 and maybe an exhaust as well. sucks being a college student. :9

I've seen one of their B series headers in person and it looked very nice. Friend said he felt a good after on the butt dyno with his B16. They make really nice pieces, and for the life of me I can't comprehend why they don't have a real website up yet.

 

Sorry I'm retarded, I guess what I mean is the primaries are the right size to flow to a 2.5" downpipe.

i would like a 4-1 but on my civic i think it would set way to low,
will a 4-2-1 stil make decent top end power?

 

On the dyno, the 4-2-1 yeilded better top end power, by about 3 HP in the last thousand RPM's to redline..
