My friend has a pair in his De ville.

Buy a set of $10 strobes. Drill a hole as close as you can to the middle of your headlights so they reflect right (they won't work right if they're too far off) and mount them in.

Simple install.

^They are legal to use when stopped, with the engine off and in a parking lot though. You should've seen my friend and this security guard go at it haha.

This sounds like a horrible idea lol...but to each his own.

As far as wiring...and the switch...red..positive...black...ground.

The ground can be attached to the body at any good grounding point i.e. bare metal...and the switch is probably on the red wire I'm assuming? somewhere in the middle...well the end of the red wire should go to some 12v source...there's a right way and a semi-ghetto way to do it.

I don't know about EGs but on the EK internal fusebox there is auxillary hookups along the top...I use mine to power my carPC and touchscreen...if you have those use them...if not....

...you can pull out a not so important fuse and wrap the red wire around a fuse leg and put it back in....

Don't these kits come with a little black box that has a strobe speed control too? I had to un-install one on a maxima for a girl I was in high-school with.

Take a picture of the kit *out of the box* with all the switches and wires it contains and I can give you more exact directions....

and if anybody can verify if the EG has those aux plugs in the fusebox or not that would help.

the lights are attached onto the speed control box... then all there is a red as black wire and an on/off switch...

all i'm really concerned about really is the switch it's self..

Yes, the red wire will be connected to the switch terminals. In my picture, the red wire should be cut somewhere, or just use additional wire if you need more length.

Wiring switches are generally very simple. Here's an example of a simple switch connection on one of my homemade Sumobots. One positive wire (+) is running from the battery and through the switch, the other positive (+) side through some relays and then the motors.

Haha I'm sure this was on a not so populated road...at least I hope.

That would be one hell of a ticket...

WAAAAY back in the day I had red neons...beat detected...under my seat...and somebody gave me a blue one and I wasn't thinking...but my friend in the pass seat plugged it up to see if it worked and it did...blinking blue and red...didn't pay much mind to it until cars started to pull over to the side to let me by..........shut off immediately

If you really want strobes, order a good brand. The autozone ones are crap, they are very weak.

cheap ones are best when you can do little modifications, unlike expensive ones you have to drill wholes onto your head and tail light.... not what i want.
