I did a search and I read somewhere that they are 13 lbs each. Compared to the stock 15.9 lbs of the USDM wheel. Can anyone confirm this?

 

If this is true, North America got really screwed when it came to the DC2R.

 

I cannot confirm this, but someone else in AUS gave me that figure....

 

and to think I passed up on those wheels for cheap too. ( If the weight is that low)

 

But, I don't think JDM models got the UKDM or ADM 15" wheels... wtf?

So, if JDM didn't get the lighter 15" wheels, then USDM models didn't get screwed as bad. (but, then again, JDM models got 16" for 98+ R's...)

 

And the JDM '96 15" is only 12.3 lbs!! So, USDM is screwed all the way......

 

'96 JDM 15" is 4-lugged... last time I check all USDM R's have 5-lugs.

yeah the USDM gets like a space age plastic material... it's light weight yo!

 

I have no idea why we (eu) got this great big lump of wood. It's huuuge. No matter I'm making a new one out of some v. thin mdf.

 

North America ALWAYS gets screwed when it comes to imported vehicles.

USDM are 15.6 lbs, right? So, there is something wrong with their scale...

 

True the USDM wheel is 15.X lbs.

 

If anyone wants a set of UKDM's, let me know. I think I may be ready to sell off my set.

They were brand new when I got them last year. They are about 99% perfect still. They are white and have 5k miles on the mounted Azenis tires.

I agree.. I have two sets of digital scales and they say 6kg and 6.1 kg for my ADM wheels (same as Euro-spec). That is 13.2 and 13.4 lbs.

I run the JDM 16" now so mine are sitting in my spare room crying out for some track rubber

 

actually, if i remember correctly, the us wheels were 13 1/2 pounds. i think they were the same as the kosei 15x7. i don't have any more wheels off rim, so i cannot weigh them anymore.

 

The USDM wheel weighs 15.X and is 15x6 only.
