Default JDM 36MM axle hub questions

Hi all,
I just purchased a 98 spec Jdm Integra type R. I bought it complete minus engine and trans. This will become a track car. That having been said the axles will be swapped out quite frequently. The hubs that are on the car are for the 36mm axles, checking with my local honda/acura dealership I see that the usdm itr hubs(32mm) are still available. Is it just a straight swap to put the usdm hubs into the jdm itr? Any insight is appreciated. I do not want to keep the 36mm as they are harder to come by. I will try to eventually post some pictures of the car. Thanks in advance for the help!

you have to swap knuckle, hub and bearing for a 32mm hub. only swapable parts are caliper and rotor. 36mm axles aren't hard to come by and you can have them built at pretty much any driveshaft shop. why would you be swapping out axles that much anyway??

It's going to be a drag car that is going to snap axles and auto parts stores readily have available the normal integra axles, I don't want to have to make a hybrid crv axle or have to keep extra axles on the shelf.

Let me know if you want to sell those 36mm axles. I need them for my K-swap

if just going to be drag race then put integra 4 lug on it. much easier solution and you can make some money off selling the 5-lug

I decided I'm going to buy the usdm itr hubs, 100$ a piece and I have a gsr shell I can steal the knuckles and wheel bearings off of. I do not have the 36mm axles, so I can't sell any to you. This is a project of mine that I plan on working on for the next few months so I'm sure I will have lots of other itr specific questions.

PLEASE don't make it a drag car. This chassis is made for the corners.. =P

lol do what you will, but I'd go for some custom axles that are meant to handle a high amount of horsepower.

They make them with the 36mm outboard.

I've looked into custom axles, they will eventually snap as well. And everyone has the mentality just to make them handle well in the curves, but how many integra type r's are 9 second cars on the 1/4? I do appreciate a type R for its handling but at the same time you hardly see them running down the drag strip so I'm changing it up a lil bit I guess.

I thought about that as well, but its been a dream of mine to own a jdm itr and atm I'm more into drag racing than auto-x . The only modifications that will be done to the chassis besides the cage will be the fuel lines. It can all be reversed should I decide to. Like I said there are hardly any itr's that drag race so it will be a unique car.

Honestly everything that I'm doing is very easibly reversible, the only thing really is the rad. mount and the fuel lines. Even the cage is easy to take out.
