Got my motor tuned today by jeff at IB *Dyno Plot*
Well first I have to thank the guys at Import Builders for there great service. I arived at IB early and jeff put the car on the dyno to get started and we had a prob with my harness. Well after one of jeffs guys (sorry dont know name) found out what the prob was *had two blown fuses* Jeff got started I baselind at mid low 160's and after a couple of pulls we got up to 169
. But jeff the power crazed man he is
wanted more so we let the car cool off for some more pulls and jeff looks over my car and check the timing and get this the car was at 11 degres
so jeff set it back to the stock 16 and jeff was back at it now knowing why power was the way it was so after a couple of pulls we came up to 173.1 WHP and 124 Tq I was real
considering this car was totaly stock internaly and cams were at 0. DAMN I love HONDATA
Here is the graph
SET up
01 B18C5 1400 miles on it
JDM 4-1 header (non ported)
SMSP carsound 2.5 cat
custom cat back mandrel bent 2.5 magnaflow muff and res for the sleeper look
Comptech intake and Ice Box
Stock timeing 16 degrees
Hondata stage 2
OBD2 to OBD1 jumper harness
91 octane 76

Very nice Chris! Congrats
I actually got on a dyno last night as well, and my timing too was low (14). After we put it back up to 16, we got another 5 HP.
BTW, how did the cat-back work out?

Not knocking down on IB but they didn't really do any tuning on your car for you to get those numbers.
EDIT - Nice numbers though.

[Modified by CPR, 11:58 AM 9/20/2002] Actualy they did we base lined the car with a basic fuel map and it was crap in the mid range and the top was lacking just a bit Jeff made the mid range nice and the top gaing a couple of WHP. Not to mention he smoothed the graph out so it would pull at all RPM's .Thrust me he did help it out. Looks as some ITR graphs with simalr set ups at the last dyno day and they were in the mid 160's and yesterday was up to 103 degrees so I know on a colder day it will be a higher number

My fault then. I thought all they did was change a couple of fuses and check&advance the timing.
wow
maybe now you'll break out of 16's

Nice. Stock ITR's make around 160-165 wHP and so you got a very nice gain with the mods you have and nice tuning done with your Hondata.
looks good.. what was your a/f ratio for that graph?
