So - I purchased my eBay fog light kit, and received it in a box labeled "WINJET Automotive Lamps," in case anybody bought the same kit as me.

Anyhow -- I haven't tried to even start the install yet, because I want to get a better understanding of all the wiring, as well as the actual fog installation. What is the best way to get the plastic vents cut/popped out from my bumper in order to put these fogs in their place? In all of these DIYs, everyone says "the actual fog light placement is self-explanatory." But I want to make sure I'm doing it right and don't mess up anything...

My second question is, would I be better off wiring this kit to my "parking" lights, or going out and purchasing an OEM Honda Fog light switch and installing that?

It seems like people have a lot of luck with wiring it to the parking lights, which I am fine with; I just want more help with how to successfully do this.

i just cut the slots out with a knife
the ebay fogs just pop right in

 

Knife? So... a razor would work just fine?

I wasn't sure if I'd need to pull out the dremel or not?

yeah just look at the back of the slot...theres parts where you can see where to cut it

 

dremel works just dont let it get away from you.
