I have a 99 dx with a d16. Im planning on swapping it to a b18. Now i have headers and an exhaust on it. I know the headers wont fit but will the exhaust fit onto the b18 manifold?

 

I hope somebody answers this, because Im in your same situation.

 

You may have to have the exhaust flange rewelded to fit the b18 manifold. With my 2000 dx, my OEM exhaust flange sat like this / and the b18 manifold flange sat like this \ . They basically crisscrossed "X" so you may have to have it rewelded so they match up. It's an easy fix.

 

Nothing a muffler shop can't fix.

 

would'nt be a problem - but try to think about an upgrade after swap on bigger exhaust...

 

i have an type r swap with built head and RMP head, im running a stock d16y8 exhaust on it? is that bad? my car revs at 5500rpm when vtec hits
