90 EF DPFI d15b2 to d16z6 swap Q's "just need direction"
Hi, I am not a Honda guy but have worked on many in my day so I am not totally Honda illiterate. My friend has a 90 EF and he wants to swap in a Z6 for a turbo project and I said I would help him with it if its not to bad. We intend to use the P20/B000 trans and the axles from the PL3/A000. We also will get all the mounts from the donor car and the harness and the P28 ecu. The only things I need some one to help me with is will we need to do the MPFI swap? If so I won't need the resistor box due to using the Z6 injectors? And I have searched for like a day and can't seem to find an answer on the back motor/trans mount. I know I have to use the mount bracket from the d15 on the driverside and the trans mount from the donor. I also know about the cable to hydro conv, its the same thing VW guys do in MK2's with VR6 swaps. I also know it will need a OBD0 to OBD1 conv aswell. If anyone can help me out with what I am missing or has a good build thread that would be great. I just want to make sure we are on the right track.
Thanks, Dan
Thanks, Dan

the z6 is very easy to swap in. no resistor box when using z6 injectors. n also you need to be mpfi before you start this swap haha. if u got any really specific questions ask. i did this swap in one of my crxs a while ago.
Ok guys thanks a bunch. I know this subject has been covered before, I just wanted to hear it from someone who did it.

Ok, so if you don't use the resistor box you just tie all the ground together?
I mean positives together.

You may remember a guy named Gerry who has a pretty nice 98 ex sedan that is white, his 4 door is the one we are doing it to. I am avail most nights, I will PM you my number if you are interested. Should be getting started here in about two weeks when all the stuff gets here.
