thanks from OGS/raceway park
Finally catching up from the fall nationals and I thought I would take the time on behalf of everyone at OGS and Raceway Park to acknowledge the people who made this happen.
Obvioulsy first off would be Javier Ortega and Alison Lee. They are the brains and the backbone of the operation and are the true secret to the success of these events.
The rest of the OGS staff: Angel Torres, Mr Bakerz, George Rosario, mc slick, dj mpos, Rich Walker and the car show judges. Just like myself you guys are the soldiers that IMO are the best at what you do.
Brian Ballard, Jake Gavio and Carey Bales: thanks to you guys for busting your asses organizing your respective classes that contributed greatly to this event. Your hard work before and invaluable assistance during the event is greatly appreciated.
To all the shootout competitors: there's nothing else to say but WOW! Outlaw despite not having all the racers it shouldve this year still had some tough racers and amazing ETs that continue to amaze me. Most would think with all that's involved with building and maintaining these cars and seeing what miller did at this race would steer people away but I'm actually noticing the opposite. More people seem to be doing quality builds to take down the man! hopefully by next year that will become more apparent. The all motor crowd couldn't have put on a better show! With a 10.8 bump and some tight competition my hats off to the 25+ racers that came out for that. Even the ones that didn't make the field were truly some of the best of the best. The hot rod class was very impressive. Very similar to the old idrc quick 8 days that got alot of us into this thing!
Thanks to you racers for not only supporting our race and the sport but cooperating with everything that was asked of you all. Its also important to note despite the intense competition there was many examples of good sportsmanship and comraderie between everyone.
HUGE thanks to Borg Warner, Vibrant and the rest of the bounty contributors for helping out the racers. All of these guys and girls bust thier asses, travel long distances and push thier equipment to participate in this race. It's a great help for all of you to step up and give back to these deserving racers and hopefully our community respects that and thanks you by supporting your companies.
The Napp family and the raceway park staff: thanks for supporting the sport compact scene and continuing to give us a great track to race at. Over the years that facility has proven to be the place to be.
Lastly thanks to the rest of the racers and all of the hard core fans that came from around the country (in some cases the world). Seeing all those people in the stands and hearing all the kind words people have had in all these threads makes all the hard work worth it! We appreciate it and will continue to work hard to give you all the best show possible.
We are aware of some issues and have already started working on some solutions. If you have any questions, comments or constructive criticism about the event we would like to hear from you. Send an email to javier@ortegaglobalsolutions.com. Thanks for the feedback!

Despite all the issues I had over the weekend it still was a great race and definitely one of the best.... It just gets better each year. Can't wait for the next one..
It was the best weekend in sport compact racing as it has been for years now! Javier, Brian, Roger, OGS and the whole Etown park staff were great. I can't wait for what next year will bring.
I'll say great job to all you guy's that made this show work so well. This was my second weekend in a row there to watch both of the must see events for the little guy's.
Thanks again Etown for keeping up the long time history of being one the best if not the best and quickest track on the planet.
