Chrome wheel experts

There is alot of chrome on my car. The door handles, window trim, and front grill trim. That's how it is OEM.
I was thinking about chrome wheels too. I've seen some OEM wheels that are chrome on Lexus and (Acura) TSX. Looks pretty good.
I'm not sure if I want to chrome my OEMs (exchange), buy OEM TSX wheels, or aftermarket chrome wheels.
What is the difference? Meaning in terms of durability, shine, etc.
Are they difficult to care for? I know they would look best only when it's super clean. What about normal day-to-day kind of wear? Will it look like @ss in 10 years even with care?
TIA
theres a spot i use in santa ana socal called gorilla plating. they do chrome exchange at a reasonable price. they work w/ a lot of wheel shops, companies and car dealerships.
their chrome looks great.
anyways, only cheap chrome will peel by itself.... or if you leave the chrome out in bad weather for a long period of time w/o cleaning it may tarnish/fade.
on my chrome parts i usually use soap and water w/ a nice smooth soft cloth but a good chrome polish will work also.
only downside i see w/ chrome wheels is if you curb rash them and u need to repair them again cus most of the time u will need to strip off all the chrome and redo it
