Not enough power to go on hill
I have a 2000 Handa Civic, manual transmission. There's this hill right around the corner from where I live. I stopped at the light, and when it turned green I could not for the life of me get the car to go at first. It was a very huge incline. I was able to eventually get the car to move but it took a lot, I'm actually afraid I may have damaged something in the process of just getting the car up and over the hill and I know the car was in first gear. I've made it over this hill a few times before with no problem, I just bought this car 2 weeks ago. Is it possible that there is something wrong with it?
well the civic isnt a torque monster. Vtec = virtually torqueless economy car
anyways, any check engine lights? plugs torqued to 17in/lbs?
in 1st you shouldnt have much problems..
