sup guys i figure id introduce my self ill be moving to the seattle are in the next few months.....around bangor area...what can i expect? .im from socal... whats it like out there any posotive input is welcome thanks
Not sure what kind of car you got but Seattle is a hot spot for thieves!
I am not putting Seattle in the hot seat; but I have buddys there.
You can do whatever you want to protect your car from theft; but if ppl want it; they'll get it (in general).... If you have an alarm; it gives you somewhat piece of mind...
Just make sure you are smart and keep an eye on your ****. As far as the ppl; just depends on where you go in the area.
Any of the seattle folks agree?

I concur. there have been tons of jackings just in the last couple of months, seems like things are really picking up, so definetly protect your investment.
as far as roads go, not sure where the "bangor" area is, but basically, seattle roads suck, especially downtown seattle. The freeways aren't bad, but I5 is grooved cause they didn't finish the 2nd half of the project, and I405 is constantly getting new improvements and I really like it personally.
The job market isn't too bad depending on what you do and the skills you have. but the same goes for any area really.
any other questions feel free to ask.

Our job market is ****, our housing market is ****, our cost of living is 18% above the national average, Seattle is one of the least friendly cities in the USA, one of the highest suicide rates, and we have lousy drivers.

I had a buddy that wanted to do the car program at shoreline cc, but was short on funds. Silverdale is not far if you are use to Cali standards(everything is hella spread out in Cali), but its a good hour and a half drive from Seattle unless you take the ferry. Also if you take main land roads you have to pay the toll on the bridge to cross over which is like $4. It all depends on what you do for a living. Unless you are stuck in silverdale due to the navy which would make sense. I would say people are friendly but latelly there has been so many people coming in that its very mixed now, oh yea our traffic is pretty much as bad as Cali now. Also most people here drive slow and refuse to move over.
im glad im outta this state soon. it's so depressing living in here.
Na man washington is great, Sumer are warm, relaxing its awesome. Winter do rain, but alot of the time it also sunny in the winter, and it snows. Youl get used to it and love it
well welcome, if ur moving near silverdale, or bremerton, no need to worry about theifs here, not to bad anyways, and its about an hour from seattle
