Hey ht. I have a 89 honda crx and I am having a problem with closing the sun roof. Does anyone have any advice or know how to get the sun roof to close? I usually open it have way and it would close. But I accidently open the roof to far out now it want go back in. any help will do. Thanks.

 

Sometimes the part they slide on comes out, and when you try to close it, it hits the sunroof and wont close. Take off the sunroof and put it back on right. Or when closing it, lift up on the back of the sun roof and it should clear the slider and close. If that isnt the case, it could be the motor going out.

 

This may or may not be the case with the CRX, but some Hondas have a sprocket-type-thing above the headliner that can be used to manually close the sunroof if it gets stuck open. On EKs it's in the middle of the roof panel, directly behind the sunroof.
