So my front defroster doesn't work on my civic. The AC works nice and cold, it goes to a nice warm heater when I want it to and my rear defroster works too. It's just when I change the air flow of the vents, it doesn't change. I can hear something whirring in the dash, but nothing changes.

The thing is, it used to work and one day it failed. I thought my climate control was dead, I just changed it and still no work.

 

broken or stuck blend door/position door. that is the whirring - the door is trying to move, but is not.

pull the dash and have a look...

 

^I was hoping I wouldn't have to do that..

 

Ya sounds like ur gonna have to take ur dash apart too see y its not working. No other way around that.
