Last month I had a family wedding in New Jersey for which I flew out to the East Coast. I knew I was going to have a free day before the wedding to do as I pleased, so I decided to take the New Jersey transit train into Penn Station to enjoy a day in Manhattan, New York City.
I had been itching to do a photoshoot on a car because evertyhing I usually shoot is in motion at the racetrack or at some gay *** car meet, and none of my friends ever hit me up to shoot their cars. My solution: I hit up BlazedD and made plans to meet up with him in Queens while I was in town for the day.
I talked to BlazedD at about 2PM to iron out the plans and he mentioned that it might rain later in the evening. I had plans to go grub in Little Italy and was going to make it over the bridge ASAP, but rush hour traffic on Money Makin' Manhattan is a BITCH. By the time I was ready to cross over Queens Bridge around 6PM , the weather was looking all kinds o' ugly and there was even a freakin' tornado warning out for NYC! Lightning and thunder were moving closer and closer...
Heading over the bridge, you can see that a storm was ready to touch down:

Right as I get out of my car to introduce myself to BlazedD and his homie, the raindrops started falling. Like idiots, we thought we could just lean up against a big wall and avoid the rain. Thirty seconds later, wind and rain were coming down like a Vietnamese monsoon. We were all soaked from head to toe and had to run into our cars. Fifteen minutes later the storm had passed, but I was left to shoot a wet car under dark cloud cover with NO tripod and one on-camera flash. So much for things going as planned and getting to do a good photoshoot.
Either way, crappy photos or not, BlazedD is still THE KING OF QUEENS.

After I took some shots, BlazedD was kind enough to go pick up a blunt so we could all collaborate on a session. We got pretty irie and moved over to the other side of the building under the tracks for a couple more shots:

And the only shot I really liked:

If the pictures seem repetitive, it's because I was a little intoxicated.
