Hi all, Just bought my second 96 SRV. This one will go into my start off Japanese and European Sport car Collection. The body is mint, no cancer anywhere, straight and ready.
The only issue is it has 280,000 Kms on it.

The motor is still pretty strong to the feel other than needing a valve adjustment. I want to go NA and want it to last the next 30 years. I want to do this once and not muck around.
I am looking to get close to 250-300hp NA but be able to drive around daily with the possibility of weekend cross events.
Doing research there are some options but not sure on reliability. G23 sounds nice and cheap.. or should i just go and grab something off the shelf turn key form say JG..or the H23/22 Vtec.

Reasoning..motor in the car has a lot of kms on it. Needs to be freshened up and of course at that time why not go further.
