Icon6 2000 civic h22a4 full swap

Hey guys I have a 2000 honda civic DX. I recently bought an 97 prelude with the H22a4 type S VTEC in it. The guy who is helping with the swap said that the transmission might not bolt up, and that we were going to have to use the stock tranny. will that even work? If not I was wondering what i would need to get the whole thing to fit into my car. Thanks

look in the marketplace under performance, you're going to have to use a B-series tranny. Various reports of people doing this swap. use the search function, its helpful.

You can't use the ATTS transmission that comes with the H22A4, has to be regular H or F-series tranny. D-series will work with an H/F2D adapater.

If you replace the stock final drive they're pretty tough.

i've done this whole h22a4 swap. there are tons of things that you might need on this swap. it took me like 2 weeks to get it running because i thought i already have all the parts that i need but i was wrong. lol most important things that you need to fit that bigass motor and trans are
conversion motor mounts
conversion axles

PS
make sure that you got the right motor mounts for the axles because if you don't, your axles will bind.
