Here is the diagram.

so from the looks of it..
when i wire up the IAB, do i manually remove the wire from the A20 slot and insert that wire in the A17 slot? or do i just splice in the A17 wire and solder it on ?
& when i wire the knock sensor, do i manually install a wire into D3? and then run that wire through the fire wall to the knock sensor itself?
right?
am i doing this wrong guys?
am i doing this right?
sorry this is a noob question & is pretty straight forward but im having issues with this ;s
any help would be greatly appreciated!
thx again gentlemen!

Yes.
No. The evap purge plug in the engine bay goes to pin A20 at the ECU, since most people swap in a JDM GS-R with no evap purge solenoid (even if its USDM not having it plugged in wont throw a code or affect how the engine runs, so long as its an OBD1 ECU) its easier to just move the wire over to A17 and plug the unused evap purge solenoid plug into the IAB box, basically it saves you from having to run new wire.
