Hi everyone

So I'm in the process of doing my first rebuild. (Due to budget constraints earlier this year I had only the head rebuilt to fix a problem with valve seals….oil was leaking through the exhaust.)

I found my machine shop, I have all the tools (minus the engine hoist), and a couple buddies helping me out. I thought it was be beneficial to create a thread to get some feedback plus to help others looking for some basic information.

Regarding the block...am I missing anything? Other than ARP head studs, the rest will be OEM parts...for me anyways.


Timing belt
Tensioner
Water pump
Water pump gasket
Oil pump
Cylinder head gasket
Exhaust manifold gasket
Intake manifold gasket
Oil pan gasket
Connecting rod bearings
Main upper bearings
Main lower bearings
Head studs
Piston & rings
