Do you want real critiquing or just high fives?

Welding looks too hot, undercut and not prepped very well.

But it's a great job for your first time *high five*

thanks i guess in my defence i can say it wasnt back purged hence the darker coloration , i did not use tons and tons of filler rod for were its angled on each connecting point of each individual peice thus it looking like to much heat, and as far as it getting cut >? i dont have cnc machines to do all the perfect precision cuts..... other then negative comments. Does anybody have some tips for me or any pointers ? thanks

For what its worth, you can still get a good looking weld even if it isn't back purged, you also don't need a cnc machine to make perfect cuts. Tips or pointers, prep better, and take more time before finishing up the piece, just keep practicing, in time I'm sure it will get better.

Tips:

get a wire wheel or something to clean up the surfaces before welding.
Use less heat or try to get better gas coverage and make sure to stop between passes while staying in that coverage area.
There are a few areas where it is clear that the tungsten was contaminated from dipping and you continued to weld.
Focus on prep and maintaining a consistant bevel on all joints and you should be able to finish with a much more consistant weld.

like the others said. too hot, not enough filler and it needs better prep. the perfect beads will come with time. personally i use buffin pads to clean all my stuff with but i see alot of people suggest wire wheels on here.

Besides what others have said your runner placement is odd and shows your experience here. You really need to work on where the runners are going and how the over all look of the piece will end up.

Another thing to watch for is try and keep the manifold from creeping to far towards the radiator support. Theirs no real reason for it to be out that far other then it cuts down the space for waste gates.
