I'm attempting to use hids with my fog lights and i was wondeing if you who has done this in the past could help me out or atleast point me in the right direction to get help. Thnks

 

Its easy, all u need to do Is drill a hole in the back plat of the fog light housing as the back of the HID bulbs stick out about a half inch, then just cut and feed the wires through and re wire em together plug into ballast and your good to go. Then I just loaded up the back plat with caulk to seal up the hole to the bulb, did it 2 years ago and have had no issues with water leaking in what so ever.

i do not recommend you do this at all. stock halogen fog light housings do not generally have the correct optics to direct an hid beam properly.

 

 

But won't it look off with HID for driving lights and just regular bulbs for fogs?

 

i think it looks fine with hid headlights and halogen fogs
