anyone know of a good website to get a chip burner? i bought a chipped pm6 that had a ebay pre mapped ls chip im obd0 by the way and i got an sst chip and got remapped for d16a6 launch at 35 and rev limiter at 8. but it feels like i hit fuel cut when im driving anywhere under 35 its sluggish unless i floor it it has alot of hesitation when im normal driving but under wot it goes back to normal? but anyways just wondering if anyone here uses turboedit and knows a good place to get a chip burner besides xenocron they want 85 bucks lol.

those ebay chips will be the death of ur ecu! i learned this about 2 years ago. ship it to phearable.net and tell them what engine mods u have and they will fine tune it 4 u. or if u wana do the tuning ur self i would suggest a inovative lc-1 wideband controller with datalogging then tune it using chrome/eCtune or what ever u decide

 

Phearable wont do OBD0 chips from what I know...

If $85 is too much to purchase a chip burner and be able to do it all yourself all day long, how much did that Ebay chip cost?

You can find Willem chip burners on Ebay for cheaper certainly, but they are no where near as fun or user friendly to use like the Moates BURN2 is...

 

yeah ive been looking at the moates burner2 which is really nice and i would like to buy it but, its not the user friendlyness im worried about and i got the pre mapped chip with the ecu, then bought an sst chip and got re mapped by this jank garage where i dont think the guy had any idea what he was doing, as of now ive semi tuned a map using a ng55 and stock pm6 parameters, which i think will work better then the one from this janky garage, anyways, with the willems burner off ebay will i have any problems using turbo edit and an sst chip with it? i just want something cheap that i can re map my ecu my self instead of having someone else do it. and if something needs changed i cant go back and get it re done as much as id like, im also going turbo soon and i know i can make my own basemap with turbo edit from alike setups, thanks. and the xenocron website is great

 

i jus seen a stock ls-v with a apexi vafc pull out 196 whp obd0, i was shocked lol
