I am going to the track with my 89 ef hatch setup is as follows

88 si transmisson
dsm 13g turbo
dsm 440 cc injectors
evo 8 intercooler
tuned chipped p28
stock 13 inch rims (new tires tomorrow)
turbo back exhaust 2.25 inch
turbo sees 12-14 psi boost
no tach


any hints on launching or anything i should do before i go and also any et estimates? never been to the track in a fwd manual vehicle but i do have pleanty of track time in my trans am.

 

get a tach, very valuable when your shifts have to be perfect

 

what gauge clusters will fit my car with a tach?

 

an si cluster would work

 

for what years and civic only or crx also

 

the lx sedan clusterhas a tach on it, si hatch and also si crx, the 88-89 is different from the 90-91 tho i think.

 

My advice would be to NOT track this without a tach.....unless you just have a good amount of money to gamble with.

oh i forgot to mention it is just a test and tune day. and also vehicle still has the stock rev limiter
