Best Place to have sleeve a block? GE, RS, ERL, AEBS, Darton Etc ..
Hi there. Was wanting some opinions on whos the best to send a block off to have it sleeved. Want a streetable block that I can turn up to 30 psi (+ -) Have heard horror stories of "sleeves sinking" and stuff like that. Who has the best setup? TIA
and it has more to do with whos installing them, alot of ppl go to there local machine shop and have them done and alot of these shops dont have the proper machines to properly install them
I'm a fan of golden eagle sleeves...used them on multiple engines/builds and they haven't let me down yet...
i agreed alot of people around here get darton sleeves installed locally and their blocks get cracked.... I use golden eagle and a few friends and customers. You cant go wrong with ge imo... but i see this thread turning into a pissing match lol

ERL Performace... Hands down the nicest machine work.... We can measure clearances and I'll put my money on an ERL block... A lot of work goes into an ERL block that a lot of other companies over look..

ERL Performance hands down. Talk to Seth or Sean over there they will take care of you. Awesome customer service. I have always dealt with them, always will. Great turn around time too.
I had no problems with my Darton sleeved block, but I am now assembling my new engine, which I went with Golden Eagle sleeves...
