Help Wiring Stereo
1996 Honda Civic
So I am wiring up my stereo and the owner before me cut all the wires. I have put all the wires back and the radio works but everytime I turn off the car, my clock and pre-sets reset. Also, there is a red wire that isn't connected to anything, what is it, I tried searching but no luck. Also my stereo has a two plugs, red and white, what are these for? Better sound output to speakers?
Thanks

Those two red/white plugs are prob preamp outputs, they would connect to an aftermarket amp. Any wires that you're not using, cap off.
If you still have the same symptom after you connect your appropriate wires, I have a feeling you'll need to check your fuses, particularly, a 7.5 amp fuse in your under hood fuse box.
