Ok so I replace my brake pads and when I took them off
the little piece of metal that goes on the brake pads
went out in two pieces, broken. so I placed my two new pads
and after that my car has a rattling noise so annoying.
Like if something were loose, when I go on to bumpy roads
I hear that noise, metal hitting on meta. When I go on
bumpy roads braking there is no noise, so that's why I
think the thing that went bad was that little piece missing
First question. Is that the real problem or could be something else?
second question, where can I buy a new one?
Third what is that thing called? I own a 1995 honda civic ex
coupe

 

Are you talking about the pad clips? 19 and 20.
