2000 Si w/SiR bogs and dies
Relevant spec info:
2000 Si /w 92-95 SiR swap
OBD2B -> OBD1 conversion w/ 95 Civic ECU
The problem begins after driving for a few minutes. The car sputters when giving gas off the line and shifting gears. Also when coming to a stop it revs down and doesn't stop causing it to stall out and die. It doesn't usually start right away from this point and sometimes gives a muffled howling sound before the stall or when you try to start it soon after. I've read topics of others having very similar problems with diagnostics from bad compression, to poor oil pressure, to faulty ignition switches. The most common "fix" I've read courtesy of RonJ@HT was to clean the IACV, which I did this weekend to no avail. I'm suspicious of the ECU because the highest RPM I can get is ~6K-6.2K (O_o), and I'm pretty sure I remember getting as high as 8K+ with my stock B16A. My check engine light has been on since the swap, so would checking codes be accurate? Does the ECU matter that much?

I'll see about pulling the codes in the morning.
Swiped a reman dizzy and wires off of Spoon84, both looked new. Ebay'd a set of brand new NGK G-Power Platinums.

Do you have an EGR system? If not, you have an ECU that is looking for one.
Is the IAT sensor plug connected? What are the wire colors in the 2P connector?
For code 41, is 7.5A dash fuse 15 blown?

I'm pretty sure I don't have an EGR system, but I'm also not exactly sure where to look. from the pic in my Chilton book it looks like it would be relatively out in the open though. The IAT sensor plug also is connected.
I actually reset the computer (via the under-hood fuse box), and the only code that comes up now is 41. Fuse 15 looks fine and is connected.

The engine reads B16A and per the guy I bought it from is out of a 92-95 SiR. I ebay'd the ECU and "95 Civic" is written on the outside. Is there a way to check be sure about origins on either of these? The last time I turned it on 41 was the only code I was recieving.

What numbers are stamped on the ECU? Post a picture.
You can't always rely on visual inspection of fuses. Test installed fuse 15 with a test light as described at the Fuse link in my signature.

I broke down and bought another fuse tester, and 15 tested to be OK.
Here is a pic of the side of the ECU. It's from a '92 NOT a '95.
