Default b16 non lsd tranny replace or fix

Third gear is grinding and I would like an LDS transmission anyway. Should I purchase a new or refurbished one? Or can you purchase a Quaife or an Mfactory LSD and have it installed? I would just take the transmission in to a shop to have it done. If I should just go with a new one where are some good places to get them? The engine is a B16A SIR II in a 93 civic HB.

Would be better to fix it. To fix the grind and replace some wear items it would be around $300 in parts. Installing an LSD isn't a problem for any reputable trans shop. I can take of the whole thing for you or just set you up with the parts if you don't want to ship the trans.

I don't mind shipping it. I have to wait until I get my baja bug up though so I have something to drive in the meantime. I'm guessing It won't be ready for another month. I'll contact you then. I don't need top dollar, just something that can handle a light turbo kit if I ever convince myself to do it. Although if that means I need top dollar I can spring for it.
