ECHC VIR Registration is Open
I'm there, and just confirmed that I am still there, at http://www.timingroom.com/
I *think* I am driving the oldest car in the ECHC, BTW.

Bryan, you know I don't trill my R's. In the first place, it's frequently regarded as an affectation so I deliberately avoid it.
"In the first place...." Someone with a Celtic background would trill the R in first. Scotsmen and the Irish would trill that R, but the English would not, pronouncing it like "fuhst."
In English English, you'd only trill an R before a vowel when you're trying to use grand phrases like "Divine Prrrovidence"--so unless you're an actor or elocutionist, it's just better to avoid it.
It's not currrrently the fashion.

And here we see a wonderful example of intentional misapprehension. How like the "Subtile Expatriate" style of verbal Kung Fu, which deflects the attack without seeming to acknowledge it.
You crack me up George
I hate to ask this on Scott's thread but are the ECHC guys skipping the event at Beaverun? I know that it would be a hectic month with all the racing so close but, Beaver has the potential to be a great race for the ECHC. I would think Beaver would be a great add on to next years schedule. It would allow the ECHC guys to compete against the newly formed Indiana-Ohio challenge racers. IMO just seems like a great opportunity to me.

It'd be even funnier if he'd spelled subtle correctly.
sub-tile ... 1: SUBTLE,ELUSIVE <a ~ aroma> 2 a:CUNNING,CRAFTY b: SAGACIOUS,DISCERNING
Scott, sorry your thread got hijacked by the **** retentives.

The spelling -tile is not, of course, in the Oxford Dictionary. Not even as an Americanism.
Jerry - Who can hear George harrumphing right now.
ok Geezer s , how about taking this to IM?
Honda-Challenge at Beverrun, well, its not a points race, not on the True ECHC schedule.. yes, NASA will reconize the classes, but will probably have to run in Small Bore.. I might HPDE with my dad's car that weekend, i'll find out...
