Default F4I riders come on in

Good day mates. I am currently commuting a 04 kawasaki ninja 500r to work and back and it is a great workhorse but it has its weak points. The braking is the number one reason I want to upgrade to a F4I and also the fact it has more ponies to get up when you need to. My question to you guys is what kind of fuel mileage can I expect from a F4i ? My ninja gets about 200 miles before I have to use the reserve.

Thanks for all the input .

I have a friend who rides an 03 F4i and that damn thing is a gas hog. When we ride he averages about 30-35MPG under lightly spirited riding. So I would garner an average of 150 miles before the tank runs completely dry.

Always a good choice.

If you're digging for an economical 4 cylinder bike for a daily commute that pulls good MPG and has good stopping power look into an FZ6 or a Honda 599.

a properly maintenanced f4i can get 45-50mpg.

thats great gas mileage and its going to be a huge upgrade from a 500r kawi.

i had an 02 f4i, definitely one of the best bikes ove owned.

I think he was referring to the 599, not the F4i.

Yeah I was referring to the 599 however this is exactly what I wanted to hear. Real world numbers from people who ride these. Thanks for your input. I really would just love it if I could get 200 miles out of each tank... That is the goal. And fuel injection.
