oil leak honda civic 98 ex
Guys I have a major oil leak in my 1998 civic ex the car has 216000 miles on it. I noticed today that the car was pouring oil on my garage floor. So I must ask is this worth the repair or is it time to just say to hell with it and get a new car. First off I would like to ask what am I possibly looking at here I heard oil rings and rear seal so far from talking to a few people around town. Below are pictures of the engine

with 2 million miles you may want a new car
can you tell where its coming from? try cleaning the motor up with some degreaser or something so you can narrow it down, and figure out where its coming from, work from there

Looks like the vtec solenoid gasket is leaking, not hard to change yourself and the gasket isn't worth much. Distributor O-ring may also be leaking, also costs very little and again very easy to replace.
