S2000 iPod adapter... will it work on an AP1?

Here in this link is an iPod adapter listed to work for the AP2 year cars. Why wouldnt this work on my 2003 AP1?

do you install it to the back of the stock radio? is the install easy?
Yes it installs into the back of the radio. It plugs into the same place the 6-disc cd changer plugs into. Soooo if your rocking the cd changer you are going to have to choose one or the other.

Won't work on the AP1s, honda has two setups, one pre XM and one compatible w/XM. Bestbuy sells one for the AP1s but pretty expensive $180

Ok help, the one I ordered sucks. I cant shuffle songs from the iPod. Just thorugh the radio which jumbles them up. Which one lets me use the iPOD
