Need to tune high cam map under vtec engagement point?
I just tuned my b18a1 and now im going to tune my buddies d16z6 thats boosted.
I know the high cam profile is for vtec, and his engagement point is stock at 5500. I know that vtec disengages at 500rpm below that. So is it even necessary to tune below 5000rpm in the high cam map?

Just enable VTEC at 4500 and tune that area, then go back and change VTEC point when you are done. You should be doing this anyway to make sure you have the best VTEC activation point. There's always the chance (especially when boosted) that you may be able to make more power engaging VTEC earlier.
