Maybe this shouldn't be here, this is not the classifieds, but sometimes people don't check there and miss a good deal. I think this is the case here.
All the Tranny Guru's come to mind, this is a great opportunity.

I've been told by a few friends that my tranny can be fixed easily, for Beer even.
Well, if that's the case, buy my car, fix it, and make a profit.

the parts you most likely need can be had from used trannies.

 

I'll get my money out of it either way.
I understand it's an easy fix. Hopefully it's an easy sell as well.
Offer to fix it for somebody and make a buck or two.
I don't want to fix it. Period.

Probably something else, although I really want another R someday. I want to have a go at modding it again.

Dave - sell your GS-R and buy this R.

 

Trust me, if the GS-R was a quick sell and I didn't want to pay off my debt I would be seriously considering that. But removing my debt is far more important than having an R to me.

Ditto. Why give up on the car...sad to see broken spirits. I know that you want an S2000 (which is a cool car), but you have a great car already and it will retain value better in the long run. Is it just me? or is anyone else starting to think theres more to this R then just a broken tranny. Just a thought. sorry not bashing the car. its a good deal if its just a small tranny prob.
