Default Choosing the right tires.

Whats a very good sticky tire? I have all season khumo ecsta tires but they screech like a b*tch. Just want something a little cheap and something that will grip great.

Great cheap tire: Sumitomo HRTZ III's (3's) - way better than oem, at like half the cost
Great tire: Dunlop Star Specs

Those sumitumos are GREAT cheap tires?!! Wha?! They're crappy tires no matter what the cost, IMO.

The Z1 starspecs are insanely good and "middle of the road" priced. They're probably one of the best...if not the best street tire out there in terms of overall performance envelope. Great dry traction, great wet traction, decent treadlife, and awesome consistency with temps.

The Kumho XS is a good cheap tire. really good dry grip. Really bad wet grip. Duno about treadlife or consistency.

If the car isn't seeing track time, however...I wouldn't get either one of ^^ those.

The BFG G-force sports are great if you're not seeing any track time. They're sticky and they last a long time. I'm pretty sure a lot of sizing is discontinued though. They're pretty F'ing cheap.

Define cheap?!?!...lol...the tires that have been mentioned from other posts are good/great tires, but what's your goal? Will your car see any track? street only? Dunlops Direzza Sport, BFG G-Force, Falken Azenis, are all good tires, but I recommend going to legit sites like tirerack to see what kind of tires suits you.

Try looking these up: Potenza RE760 Sport.

I have got these on my S2000 and they are sweeeeet.
Good Price
Good Life
Good Performance Wet/Dry
Plus they're Bridgestone, closest to stock; not that everyone wants to be original as much possible.

I use these Goodyear Eagle F1, but they quit making the size for my 07 stock rims. Still well rated today. Am looking for a rear set just to set aside for when I need to replace mine.
