Help 92 civic
Hey I have a 92 civic hatch and while driving I hear a rubbing sound but it goes away when I turn...I do not have the wheel under lining and my tires are in perfect condition so it's not rubbing on fender...so what could it be please help... By the way it's coming from passenger front tire...thanx
It doesn't matter which way I turn it never makes the noise only when traveling straight...and yes car is lowered...and it's on the regular stock stealies...I believe it's 195/65r14

a wheel bearing would be a hum and an axle would be more of a click. he should check his boots for tears or any unusual signs of wear on the axles. check all your suspension components while you are under there and you will find it
Checking the wheel bearing for tightness is key too. grab the tire on top and bottom and try to wiggle it back and forth (like a loose tooth) if there is play the bearing is bad.
