92 hatch front end noise
There is a left front end noise during take off and hard acceleration, its almost a scratching/clunking noise. Mainly from the drivers side.
one thing i noticed was there is not a bearing or a support midway down the cv shaft not sure if that's how it was designed
Upper and lower control arm's were replaced, tie rod looks good, lower ball joint looks good.
also the thing wheel hops like crazy which might be the motor mounts. and the car also shakes pretty bad might be the wheels and tires.
Thanks

Re: 92 hatch front end noise
It has oversize rims and the previous owner did not take the greatest care of it.
the tie rod was allegedly changed by cole when i got new tires, it looks rusty so i doubt it. they also said it needed trailing arm bushings, and the bolts in the rear lower control arms for the springs were broke.
when i changed the control arms the lower ball joint looked crazy hard to remove so i just replaced the boot. no play in the wheel for the ball joint.

Re: 92 hatch front end noise
well i have her all apart currently doing a mini-me swap, and the driver side motor mount had about a inch of play rotation wise, most of the rubber was not even connected. hoping this is it what the problem is.
