blown GSR block still good???
I found a GSR bottom end that sucked up water and blew the motor. I think it was just the first cylinder thats messed up, theres a big whole on the side of it. Right now its sitting outside and has been rained on and everything. I was just wondering if there was anything I can recover from this block??
I guess if it's still in a good condition.
If it's that bad then i would consider you hot tank it then bore and resleeve it!!
Hey can't let a GSR block go to waste...

My guess- hydrolock, bent rod and piston went through sleeve. Verdict: take the block to a machine shop, get it checked out and see if its salvageable (crank, resleeving, etc.) still good, send it out to Golden Eagle and get it redone (that will cost some $).
I mean- verdict: Block is crap, sell it to me for cheap
And if you don't feel like dealing with all that to get it fixed PM me I might be interested.
