aight...been goin around askin if its good swap or what not, most of the ppl tells me its too much custom *****, the body wont be able to take it , no one would do it around my are(northern va), gotta cut some frame, not much u can do to h22, but then on the other hand there are ppl who said all i need is jus hasport mounts and everything else should jus drop in there, 50/50 on gettin it, some ppll make me not wanna get it and jus go gsr , some ppl make me wanna get it, for those who've dropped h22 their civics, could u please update me with ALL THE STUFF i have to , and if all the things i wrote could be true or not.....NO SEARCH!!!...jus ppl's opinions....thanx

 

people talk too much ****. it's an easy swap. a little more complicated than a B series, but still got h22 in my car in 3 days.

as for braking and handling and understeer, it's all talk ****. don't listen to them.

h22 is all the worth over any B series.

B series is very good, but H is better for power IMO

all you need is Hasports ore HCP mounts (I prefer Hasports because I have them and love them) and to do research on this board.

too bad the search function on this site sucks. i made a long write up on the whole fuggin swap (i'm not gonna do it again). u just gotta get lucky and find that thread. btw: there should be a lot of shops in NOVA that will do this swap for you. Inline Pro, Nu-Image, CDE, Altered Atmosphere, Dragwerks . i'd pick inline out of all these.

my b16a coupe had ITR AEM and JDM DC, flywheel, clutch, N1 catback with testpipe
ran a 13.8 with a 2.3 60 foot at 3000ft

 

H22a-CX, What happened with HMO? I was thinking of going with them. It's my last $2500 so I don't want to get screwed. Any suggestions for an alternate? Poison, I would like those diagrams if you wouldn't mind sending them. I've been searching for a looong time and could use all the help I can get. I'll IM if I can.

 

i feel i got ripped off badly from them
motor didnt come with what i should of, bad service on the phone, when i talked to him about the missing parts he said he would take care of it, after not seeing the stuff 8 days after he aid he sent it i called him and he said ill send a new one out, i told him i needed it quick that ive waited long enough he said ok ill send it priority, sure enough 3 days later it appeared at my door COD-WTF?? he made me pay for stuff that i should of got with my swap
im just not happy with them or thier service, dont get me wrong the motor runs good and it was somewhat clean

 

Wow, that sucks. I guess I'll have to reconsider who I buy from. They really ought make sure they give you everything you were promised. The internet can ruin your business if you don't do a good job. You do like the swap itself though right? If you were going to do it again who would you buy from? Poison thanks again for the diagrams.
