hello fellow honda-tech'rs,
im picking these up tommorow but i need to know if theyre restorable.
are they worth paying $650? theres a minor cig burn on the drivers side and they sit on DC5 rails but i got an EK hatch LMK what u think

i was gunna mix a cup of woolite w/ 6 cups of water in a spray bottle and use that to clean them. some guy has a nice DIY on here. it motivated me to try it

 

there are like 5 DIY threads on here for this... i say get em and clean em and you could probably sell them for close to double what the guy wants for them

 

he's a friend of mine so hes actually hooking me up. the only thing that im concerned about is the driver side one since its worn where u sit.

 

dont be so worried about that, when you sell them tell the buyer you are buying used seats what do you want BNIB? haha nah im kidding if they are only $650 buy them and clean them, and just always be sitting in them then noone will know the difference about where you sit.

go to the home depot and get a spray called folex i use that on most my interior and recaros.. its removes oils deep stains and blood...lol its good stuff ..

always was a little suspicious of where all this money to build your car came from. mafia ftw





currently theyre about 6.5, but after cleaning theyll be close to 8/10

price seems right... but that driver side does look a little loose and ratty looking. yea i remember hearing that these seats can be steam cleaned to look like new. well its up to you good luck !

This works wonders! Last weekend cleaned a pair of the same seats which were way worse and came out really clean i would prob clean them once more before im truly happy!

 

I've used Woolite and it worked perfectly. After washing them I layed it in my garage for a couple of days to air dry and the material looked much more richer and felt more softer.

 

i actually just passed on some ek9 recaros on rails for 600 cuz of the condition they were in. similar to this except the driver seat was also widened as if a fat fukc sat on them daily

 

better than my usdm recarDo's lol
