89 CRX DX DPFI Misses Just off idle with WOT
Hello,
Looking for a little input just for some ideas. I have a DX with a Walbro 255. Everything else is stock. I recently went through the entire fuel system with a comb. Fuel supply and pressure at the throttle body is good. When I got the car, the distributor was loose, the TB had no gasket under it and the dashpot was shot. I fixed all those things although the timing may not be perfect. It has new plugs, wires cap and rotor. Motor runs seemingly well although I have not road tested it. NO CEL Light!
The car idles quite well. However, just off idle it stumbles when WOT is applied from idle. Rarely it will backfire - just once under the same idle to WOT condition. It will clear up every time almost immediately.
I'm thinking it is either a clogged secondary injector or the timing is off. No stumbles any where else.
Thanks for any thoughts - Keep in mind this is DPFI not MPFI! It only has 2 injectors, a main and an aux. What is a good way of cleaning them off the car - if possible at all? Can you soak them?
Thanks Folks.
