my cel is on but is not throwing codes, where do I begin troubleshooting?

 

Well, i guess i have heard everything now... I have you tried clearing it? Even if it's not throwing a code resetting it might fix the problem. I really have no idea what it could be if it's not throwing a code, maybe a bad light?

 

so you used a OBD2 scanner and nothing?
then just reset the light, if it comes back on then it is definitely throwing a code.
