b18a1...so my tps was broken so i got a real good deal on a b16 TB and of eventually i dont know much about the difference beside it a bit bigger...i realize that on my old TB there isnt the FITV on it but on the mani and the b16 TB has the FITV on it...question is how do i go about fixing this problem?? or can i still install it?? i cant put the b16 TB bc the FITV on the mani will big in the way...

 

If this helps, on my last GSR motor, i used an LS throttle body because the GSR was getting stuck. I ran it without any problems whatsoever. My friend, then with my GSR throttle body, managed to fix it in the meantime and put it on his LS. Ran without any problems as well.

Given this, i believe you shouldnt have any problems with changing it out for the b16

 

so are you saying just take off the fitv???

 

If you take off the FITV you need to put on a gasket that doesn't have the hole for it. That would fix the issue of having the hole there. I've seen the gasket, however I can't recall a part number... Good luck.
