Default Difference Between 00 CTR Tranny to USDM Type R tranny

Just want to know if there is a difference between the 2 transmission. Need a replacement transmission and due to availability it is getting harder to find one. Is there a major difference between a 00 Civic Type R transmission FD and or gear ratio to a USDM Type R transmission. Thanks for all your help.
