Default JDM CTR tranny or USDM type R tranny

What do you think would be better for a 479WHP 1.6L ... well 1.7L motor???

Im thinking of switching the CTR tranny off the motor and putting my USDM type R with longer gears!

The CTR and USDM ITR tranny have identical gearing and final drive. They also have the same LSD.

The tranny with different gear ratios is the JDM ITR tranny.

Different tires maybe? Or maybe your tach is off.

According to that and every other b-series tranny specs ive seen, they are the same.

I herd if you do like LS 5th you will always have to double clutch since the gear ratio is so far off!!!
