Springs VS. Coilovers
Okay, so I'm gonna pre apologize for my suspension noobness.
But anyway, I have a 93 Coupe. I want it lower, not slammed, because its a daily driver. Lowered enough to be sexy tho.
Its gonna see the track maybe twice.
So I was thinking since I only wanted it lowered a small amount should I just get springs and shocks?
I also want it to hand rather well.
So i guess your recs for a decent daily driven set up, that will handle well, and if you will please, throw in some recs for strut or sway bars, and control arms, and all the other fun aftermarket suspension things.
(P.S. I know you can't lower a car and have stock ride quality, I just don't wanna die on bumps)

Eibach sport lowering springs, Koni Sports (yellows)
Do you currently have sway bars?
Control arms, i assume your talking about the rears? if so, there are plenty of makers of decent parts. Theres skunk2, (make sure you get the newer bushings), function7(The best besides OEM) and OEM with energy suspension bushings.
I also reccomend you look into replace the bushings, with either ES, OEM, pic, mugen or something.
With the springs and shocks, no your car wont ride exactly as it did stock, but it wont be too stiff, bouncy or anything.
Friends dad (65yr old) has this setup in his 98 civic ex and loves it. He drives over 100 miles each way to work

I don't believe I have sway bars, I had a strut bar, but it was a ebay one and the previous owner didn't even have it bolted on good, you could shake it around with you hand.
And Civics don't have upper and lower control arms in the front?
and are there bushings elsewhere in the car besides control arms that I should replace?

Ex,dx?
You could throw integra sway bars in and see how you like it and go from there.
Yes, they do have them. You didn't say what you were looking for.
For front lowers omni power made them. But I think they are disscontinued.
For the uppers, they are commonaly refered to as camber kits.
I reccomend keeping stock for both upper and lower.
And yes, they do have bushings else where.

coilovers are good for 2 things. corner balancing your car if you race and hardparking to dump the **** out of your car. GO with a good damper and the spring of your choice
