92 eg hatch no brakes
i was driving my car and the brakes just stopped working. you can push the peddle all the way to the floor and and nothing happens, and my brake light is on in the cluster. the master cylinder has brake fluid..... any ideas
I'd check all four corners to ensure you're not leaking fluid but most likely if the pedal can go to the floor with no resistance then your master cylinder seals are bad. Replacing the master cylinder isn't a big deal, search on here and I'm sure you can find a good writeup.
thanks alot I took the wheels off and inspected the calipers and i found that the right front caliper lost a pad causing the caliper piston to come out and leak all of the fluid out.. does anyone sell a caliper rebuild kit.
I rebuilt the front calipers on my Integra about a year ago. I bought new caliper piston rubber seals/boots from http://www.rockauto.com/
You can use compressed air to pop out the caliper pistons so you can replace the rubber parts.
