Default Gathers HU help

the civic i just got came with a gathers head unit installed and after messing with it a bunch, and searching for answers i cant figure out how to tune the eq's and set the proper speaker balances. any help would be great. its a creative processor vx-496, with the tape and mini disc combo

there should be an SE button (sets preset eq's) and an AE or AREA button (sets balance presets). Hold the SE button for bass/treble, and hold the AE button for balance/fade.

Thanks bro, I couldn't figure that thing out at all. And what would be needed to hook a sub and amp up because I don't see any way to

I dont know anything about Gather's head units but you usually connect the RCA outputs and remote wire to the amp. If you dont have RCAs then you'll have to get a line output converter. Its pretty easy to do.
