im looking to paint my car a metallic burgundy, i want a deep (burgundy) red dont want it to have any orangeish tint. so far i have came up with toyota tacoma *impulse red metallic*



and

honda CRV *Tango Red Pearl Metallic*




anyone know of any other nice burgundys, if so post the year, make n model of the car it's from.

BTW the car getting painted is a eg hatch

 

can't find any nice burgandy's, i had an 2002 rsx-s and i sold it because of the color, it was a gross burgandy. i even tried finding a different shade of burgandy to respray it since it had body damage, but i couldn't, so i sold it.

good luck finding a nice shade, its hard.

 

Matador Red Mica. You'd be much happier with the results, color is so excellent in sunlight.

Can be found on many new Lexus' ('09-10) Maybe others.

thats actually the color i wanted! but it's a tri-coat color meaning it's a 3 stage paint job and the paint is VERY expensive! so im looking only for 2 stage colors..i do love that color tho!

 

Your correct, I didn't even realize that.

Theres a newer company called Wanda, and it's actually a part of PPG. Their quality is crazy for the price. You may find it for a much better price through them.

I know a couple more that I really enjoy, i'll put up a couple more soon. I agree though it is difficult to find a decent Burgandy.

inferno red is another tri-coat lol..it seems like every time i find a nice burgundy its a tri color!!

lol i really want to go with a tri stage but im gonna be painting everything (bay, inside including roll cage, and outside) so im gonna need alot of paint its like $680 per gal. for tri stage, while 2 stage is like half the price!!
