Missing screws that hold rotor
I've got a weird sound coming from the rear driver side of the car. It sounds like I've got a flat spot in the wheel but I rotated the wheels and the noise still comes from the same spot. I also thought it could possibly be the tire rubbing on something but didn't see any signs of that. Anyway, I did have this picture from the last time I adjusted my coils and I noticed that the 2 screws that hold the roter on weren't there. I'm not sure if this could be the cause of the noise but, i'm sure it's not good to be missing those screws anyway.
btw: The car drives fine. Noise gets faster when I go faster. Sounds like thump......thump.....thump....thump...thump..thump .thumpthumpthump. Like it's a flat spot.

Is it really bad to not have those screws??

Those two screws are only to hold the rotor when the wheel is removed. The wheel is what holds the rotor in place. They are not important.
If rotating the tires made no difference, you most likely have a bad wheel bearing.

Oh ok well thats good to know. The wheel bearing thing isn't so good though. I read if I jack the car up and hold the spring while spinning the tire I should be able to feel the bearing grabbing and binding up...idk if thats true but i'll try. Thanks
Bad wheel bearing. I had the same problem on my crx. And as previously stated the screws only hold the rotor on while the wheel is off. They are not important. I dont use them either. saves weight. Lol
